Help us choose a dog!

OK, Jodies housemate is moving out and she has decided to get a dog. As I love dogs / live 5 minutes away from Jodie, I'm kind of going to claim half ownership of it / take it for walks / steal it occasionally.

We're going to adopt one from petrescue, a local site for puppies that need a home. Here are a few candidates.

1. Patch

2. Misty

3. Casper

4. Shona

5. Occi

(Although Laura I remember you saying you were a cat person, so your opinion may be disregarded if I don't agree with it.)

(Then again, your last name is Woolf, so you must like the huskies!)

  1. ARGH!! Too good. I am a cat person but mainly because I was never allowed a dog (which is kinda fair enough seeing as I grew up in a tiny London flat). I have ALWAYS wanted a Husky, of course, so my vote will go with Occi. Plus he/she has eyes like David Bowie so is a clear winner. You could rename it Ziggy which is clearly awesome in every way...... if not slightly confusing for the dog.

  2. Yeah, I've always wanted a husky too. I think Jodie wants a small dog though. Shame. But thats an awesome idea re: calling him Ziggy. When I get a Husky, if he has mixed eyes, Ziggy shall be his name.

  3. Oh my God! I don't know if it is because he is little but I have fallen head over heels with Patch! he is too cute! If I'm honest I can sense a bit of the Satan in Occi.... the mixed eyes fear me out! Plus they might throw in the garden gnome for free??!

  6. Haha. Yes Casper is not looking a likely prospect. He's just a bit too special looking... My childhood dog was a labrador though. Baxter. He was much more aesthetically pleasing.

Do they even have dogs in London? I don't remember seeing one the whole time we were in the UK...

  7. They most definitely have dogs in London, they just don't generally hang out in pubs and clubs.
